Scholarships for High School Students

Ron Brown Scholar Program
Seeking African American high school seniors who will make significant contributions to their community. Applicants with strong GPA’s, class rank, and test scores will be given preference. Scholarship award amount is $10,000 annually for 4 years.

The Gates Millennium Scholarship
This scholarship is for full-time degree seeking, first year students. Applicant must have a cumulative high school GPA of 3.3 on an un-weighted 4.0 scale. Applicants with leadership skills and extracurricular activities are encouraged to apply.

Student National Medical Association (SNMA)
$500 scholarship for 12th Grade High School Students

Illinois AMVETS Junior ROTC Scholarship
For Illinois high school seniors who have participated in the Junior ROTC program. Applicant must be in good standing and should have taken the ACT or SAT. Award amount $1,000.

Illinois AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary Worchid Scholarship
For Illinois high school seniors who are children of a deceased father or mother who was a Veteran of the United States of America who served after September 15, 1949. Deceased parent must be honorably discharged. Applicant must also have taken the ACT or SAT. Award amount $500.

U.S. Bank Scholarship Program
For high school seniors or undergraduate students. Applicant must be in good academic standing. Forty $1,000 scholarships will be awarded.
