The University of Illinois College of medicine is one of the nation’s largest and most diverse medical schools, consisting of three campuses with differing environments and a shared strategic vision. Students and resident physicians come from all over the world to study, and they represent a wide range of backgrounds and experiences.

The College of Medicine is committed to continuously updating its educational strategies. Our current educational goals focus on the following:

  • Providing a first-rate education for a diverse body of graduate and medical students and trainees
  • Modernizing the physical learning spaces to provide the best possible educational environment, and
  • Improving student achievement, competence and leadership skills, while easing the burden of rising educational costs

While our students are spread across three campuses, our core College-wide leadership embraces these, a unified mission and overarching goals.
