The University of Illinois at Chicago Urban Health Program (UIC-UHP) will celebrate 40 Years of access to education for underrepresented minority students in their pursuit of health careers. Since its founding in 1978, UIC-UHP has supported over 7,000 health professionals of African American, Latino, and Native American descent in the United States. This 40th anniversary is truly a celebration of the program’s accomplishments and its positive impact on health care throughout Chicago, the state of Illinois and the nation. Join us as we welcome our community partners and distinguished alumni who are making a difference in health care to this gala celebration in September.
