Promoting Academic Scholarly Success (PASS)
Introduction
The PASS program is designed to support UIC freshman in their fall semester during their pre-health science designated curriculum with a more focused developmental academic pathway to assure their success - entering into sophomore year in good standing. PASS participants meet approximately eight times per year (eligibility is 0-30 credit hours).
PASS Program Goals
PASS participants will increase their knowledge in the following areas:
- Study skills
- Time management
- Resume writing
PASS participants will be provided with support for their continuing academic pathway in these areas:
- Financial aid seminars
- Structured social activities
- Learning strategies for academic success
